Stage 1.
Arusha - Marangu - Mandara
Drive 2 hrs, Trek 7 km, 4-5 hrs, Ascent 720m, Alt: 2700m
Dinner and overnight Mandara Hut
Stage 2.
Mandara to Horombo
Trek: 11Km, 5-7 hrs, Ascent 1020m, Alt 3720m
Dinner and overnight Horombo Hut
Stage 3.
Horombo to Kibo .
Trek 10km, 5-7 hrs, Ascent 1106 Alt: 4826m
Dinner and overnight Kibo Hut
Stage 4.
Kibo - " Uhuru Peak"
Trek: 4km, 7-8 and half hrs, Ascent 1070, Alt 5896m
Stage 5a.
"Uhuru Peak" - Horombo
Trek 4km, 4-6hrs, Descent 2176, Alt 3720m
Dinner and overnight Horombo Hut
Stage 5b.
Horombo - Marangu - Arusha
Trek: 18km, 3-5hrs, Descend 1740, Drive 2 hrs
Side Trek :- From Mandara hut you can visit the nearby
Maundi Crater
